YT Tracker is a Google Sheets™ add-on that fetches various real-time data points of YouTube™ videos & channels and puts it in a Google Sheet™.
What YT Tracker can do for you
If you keep track of real-time statistical metrics of YouTube™ videos/channels, YT Tracker can increase your productivity and save you lot of time. All you need is the ID of the video/channel and a Google Sheet™. You can,
- Fetch 25 different video metrics
- Export 11 different channel metrics
- Fetch 8 different playlist metrics
- Fetch the uploaded videos of a channel
- Automatically refresh the metrics
- Update metrics on a set schedule

Installation
You can install it from Google Workplace Marketplace. On the add-on page, click on 'Install' and choose your Google account to install. You will have the option to pick a YouTube™ brand account. But, if you choose that the installation will fail. Upon selecting a Google account, YT Tracker will need access to a bunch of permissions. After authorizing, the installaion will be successful and you can start using YT Tracker.
Permissions required
View your YouTube™ account - At least this permission is needed to fetch any data from YouTube™. YT Tracker doesn't access/read any of your YouTube™ data.
See, edit, create, and delete your spreadsheets in Google Drive™ - To write the data fetched from YouTube™ APIs.
Connect to an external service - To check your license details, YT Tracker will connect to its backend.
Allow this application to run when you are not present - To run YT Tracker in the background when scheduled update is enabled.
Display and run third-party web content in prompts and sidebars inside Google applications - When you decide to pay for the premium features, you can do that within the Google Sheet™ sidebar itself.
