This guide is for the official TubeSheet add-on. Install it to keep track of YouTube video & channel metrics directly inside Google Sheets.
In a Google Sheet™, select Extensions → TubeSheet → Track YouTube™ Videos. TubeSheet creates a header in your Google Sheet™ with the default columns. Now, you are ready to fetch video metrics.
Paste one or more video URLs/IDs in the first column of the sheet. TubeSheet calls the YouTube™ APIs and updates the sheet with the data. By default TubeSheet updates the sheet with 8 different metrics from the available 25 metrics. You can check available data points section to know how you can bring the other metrics you may need to the sheet.
New version of TubeSheet can fetch video data even if you paste video URLs in the first column.
Video ID is the unique identifier of a YouTube™ video. You can get it from the address bar of the browser.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1V34z9tOxxE
The highlighted part of the URL mentioned above is the video ID. In other words, the string followed by v= and preceded by & (if it exists) in the YouTube™ video URL is the video ID.

Install TubeSheet from the Google Workspace Marketplace today and start automating YouTube video and channel analytics tracking directly inside Google Sheets.
